Laying out the luscious Photo Rag prints of Bent on the floor of Photospace Gallery this afternoon, Friday’s opening of the work started to seem real. It rolled over last night’s anxiety dream where few people came the event and no one spoke a word …
Happily, with a couple of double hangs, the 22 A2 prints fitted around the gallery walls. James Gilberd, Photospace’s hardworking director, will attach them the walls with nifty elegant magnets (I hand cleaned all 88 of those fierce little darlings).
Here’s one of the works that I’m looking forward to seeing on the wall. If you are in Wellington NZ, do come to the opening. If you can’t come, check back on Saturday when I’ll be publishing links to images and a limited edition book of the series.
