A happy counter blow
It was a treat arrive home and find I had two poems in issue 8 of Contrappasso magazine. Contrappasso is a biennual magazine of international writing published in Sydney. This issue contains some great poetry from around the world including Spain, China, UK, Australia, the US and New Zealand. I particularly liked the work of Nicaraguan poet Blanca Castellón (translated by New Zealand’s Roger Hickin). My work continues the series I’m writing on a group of alphabetically named characters.
In case you wondered, Contrappasso (Italian) means counter step, counter blow.
